Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan intelektual anak-anak. Mengintegrasikan neurosains dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis STEM di sekolah dasar dapat menjadi inovasi yang sangat potensial dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih sesuai dengan cara kerja otak siswa, sehingga hasil pembelajaran menjadi lebih optimal dan menyeluruh. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode systematic literature review. Melalui kajian literatur 30 artikel jurnal nasional maupun internasional. Adapun beberapa tahapan dalam melakukan systematic literature review yang digunakan oleh peneliti, yakni tahap identifikasi, tahap analisis, tahap verifikasi, serta tahap kombinasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan neurosains yang relevan dengan pembelajaran matematika adalah pentingnya stimulasi kognitif yang melibatkan berbagai indera dan proses mental. Aktivitas belajar yang melibatkan gerakan fisik, visualisasi, dan interaksi sosial terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan daya ingat siswa. Dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika berbasis STEM, siswa diajak untuk tidak hanya berfokus pada teori matematika, tetapi juga untuk terlibat dalam eksperimen praktis, pemecahan masalah dunia nyata, serta kolaborasi dengan teman sekelas. Hal ini akan merangsang berbagai area otak, mempercepat proses pembelajaran, serta memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika yang abstrak.
